Alaska weather can change FAST. One minute you’re enjoying sunshine on deck ☀️… the next you’re standing in cool mist watching whales 🐋🌧️.

The key to Alaska packing is: LAYERS • COMFORT • WATERPROOF ITEMS • WRINKLE-FREE CLOTHING




👕 CLOTHING PACKING LIST — MEN


Daily Casual Wear


  • 5–7 t-shirts or casual shirts

  • 2–3 long sleeve shirts

  • 2–3 pairs jeans or casual pants

  • 2–3 pairs shorts (ship can feel warm inside)

  • Lightweight hoodie or fleece

  • Pajamas / sleepwear

  • Undergarments & socks for entire trip

  • Swimsuit

  • Workout clothes😂 (if using gym)


Outerwear (VERY IMPORTANT)


  • Waterproof rain jacket with hood

  • Light insulated jacket or puffer coat

  • Waterproof shoes or hiking shoes

  • Hat/beanie for cooler weather

  • Light gloves (especially for glacier viewing)


Evening / Dining Attire


Norwegian is relaxed, but many guests still dress nicely for dinners.


Suggested:


  • Polo shirts or button-down shirts

  • Khakis or dress pants

  • Casual dress shoes or loafers

  • Optional sport coat for specialty dining/photos
