Alaska weather can change FAST. One minute you’re enjoying sunshine on deck ā˜€ļøā€¦ the next you’re standing in cool mist watching whales šŸ‹šŸŒ§ļø.

The key to Alaska packing is: LAYERS • COMFORT • WATERPROOF ITEMS • WRINKLE-FREE CLOTHING




šŸ‘• CLOTHING PACKING LIST — MEN


Daily Casual Wear


  • 5–7 t-shirts or casual shirts

  • 2–3 long sleeve shirts

  • 2–3 pairs jeans or casual pants

  • 2–3 pairs shorts (ship can feel warm inside)

  • Lightweight hoodie or fleece

  • Pajamas / sleepwear

  • Undergarments & socks for entire trip

  • Swimsuit

Outerwear (VERY IMPORTANT)


  • Waterproof rain jacket with hood

  • Light insulated jacket or puffer coat

  • Waterproof shoes or hiking shoes

Evening / Dining Attire


Norwegian is relaxed, but many guests still dress nicely for dinners.
